You can’t fully experience love of any sort – that of self or otherwise – if your heart isn’t open to it!
We expect positive experiences in our life, when these don’t happen we put walls around our heart. Love can’t come to you or deliver the love you desire if you’ve got your walls up!
We fear pain and disappointment, but you have to give and open up a little to get something back in return. I know you’re trying to protect yourself, I get that! But a closed off heart actually IS the source of your pain.
Be willing and be open. Love wants to come to you!
